Turkish Mantı (Dumplings)

Small dough pockets filled with seasoned ground beef, boiled and served with a garlicky yogurt and butter sauce — a classic delight of Turkish cuisine.

Ingredients
3 cups flour, 1 egg, salt, water (for the dough)
200 g ground beef, 1 grated onion, salt, black pepper (for the filling)
2 cups yogurt, 1-2 cloves of garlic (for serving)
Butter, red pepper flakes, mint (for serving)
Instructions
Knead a firm dough with the flour, egg, salt, and water, then let it rest.
Mix the ground beef and onion with the spices to prepare the filling.
Roll out the dough thinly and cut into small squares.
Place a small amount of filling on each square and pinch the corners together to shape the mantı.
Boil in salted water for 12-15 minutes.
Toss with garlicky yogurt and drizzle with butter and red pepper flake sauce.
